What is Tallow?
Tallow is a saturated far rendered from beef suet, and when made correctly, is a beautiful skincare moisturizer. It’s loaded with vitamins A, D, E, K and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid – an ingredient that can help reduce the signs of aging) and because it’s rendered from mammals, it is very similar to the chemical makeup of our own skin, providing the exact mineral requirements needed for healing skin issues such as dryness, acne, eczema, etc.
How to Use:
Simply add a small amount of tallow to your fingertips and apply where needed. We love using tallow as our daily facial moisturizer.
Note:
Keep your tallow stored in a cool place (doesn’t need to be refrigerated). The consistency will change with temperature. Should the tallow get too cool, it may tend to firm up a bit but will soften with your body heat.
